How to Apply

Applications for the 2025-2026 Academic School Year 

At Cristo Rey Brooklyn, we are committed to providing exceptional opportunities for our students. With only 75 spots available in our freshman class, we encourage you to submit your application by our priority deadline of December 20th. Admission decisions will be released on January 21st.
 

Each of the 75 incoming freshmen will receive a near-complete scholarship through our unique Corporate Work Study program, ensuring access to a high-quality education and invaluable work experience. *Families who submitted an early application and the child is accepted receives a $100 discount on the registration fee.*

Our Ideal Students Meets the Following Criteria

1) Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher 2) Strong discipline and attendance record 3) Willingness to grow in your personal faith and spirituality 4) Demonstrated financial need Legal authorization to work in the United States

Admission Process

Step 1: Gather all required documentation The following documents are necessary to complete CRB’s online application: - Applicant’s birth certificate - Applicant’s report cards from the last two years - Applicant’s most recent standardized test scores - Applicant’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP), if applicable - The email addresses of two references: one academic and one character

Step 2: Complete the Online Application Families should submit the application through our PowerSchool system. For assistance, contact admissions@cristoreybrooklyn.org or call (718) 455-3556.

Step 3: Ensure the Applicant’s recommendations are submitted During the PowerSchool application process, you will need to provide the email addresses of two references. They will receive an email with instructions to complete their recommendation forms. Please remind them to check their emails and submit their recommendations promptly.

Step 4: Applicant Attends an Interview and Assessment Once the application is reviewed, the Admissions Office will decide if the applicant will be invited for an interview and assessment. Please monitor your email to ensure you do not miss the decision.

Step 5: Complete the Financial Aid Application - Create an account in FACTS. - Complete the online application and upload the required documents. If you file taxes, provide: - Most recent tax return (Form 1040) - Most recent W-2s for all jobs held by contributing adults in the household - Proof of other income (e.g., SSI, SNAP, TANF, unemployment, child support, worker's compensation, etc.) If you do not file taxes, provide: - Proof of other income (e.g., SSI, SNAP, TANF, unemployment, child support, worker's compensation, etc.) - Signed or notarized statement of income from an employer - Notarized statement of financial assistance from family or friends (if applicable) For more information, visit our Tuition and Financial Aid page. Accepted Students

  • All accepted students to Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School will receive an official acceptance letter, a personalized financial aid award, and an invitation to attend one of our New Student Orientation sessions in June.

  • To ensure that all incoming students are fully prepared to enter the workforce, Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School requires participation in our Summer Training Program (STP). This comprehensive three-week orientation will take place from July 7-25, 2025.
