Tuition & Financial Aid

Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School exclusively serves students who desire a college prep education but could not otherwise afford to attend a private high school.

Corporate Work Study Program (CWS): All Cristo Rey Brooklyn students work throughout their four years of high school, earning approximately 50% of the cost of their education while also gaining valuable business experience and building their resumes. Learn more about Cristo Rey Brooklyn’s Corporate Work-Study program here.

Tuition: Cristo Rey Brooklyn families contribute a small portion of the cost of their child's education( 5% - 12.5%).  The amount of tuition for each student is determined on a sliding scale based on family size and annual income. The 2024-2025 tuition range is from $800 to $2,500 per year, with families on average paying $1,800 in tuition and fees per student.

Other Criteria:

  • Families who apply to Cristo Rey Brooklyn must complete an application for financial aid during the admission process. The financial aid application is used to determine admissions financial eligibility.

  • Families that filed taxes need a 2023 complete tax return,  W-2, or 1040.

  • Families that do not file need a budget Letter, Snap Assistance, unemployment letter, or other acceptable official proof of income.

  • Students may apply for additional scholarships for financial assistance. Student Sponsor Program NYC (SSP) is an outside organization that helps assist Cristo Rey Brooklyn families with tuition.

  • All accepted students will receive a Financial aid package through the mail, along with the decision letter.
